In the midst of these cold winter months, it's warming to think of bringing your photo entries to the 133rd Troy Fair for the annual photography contest!

You now have several months to capture the best photo you can! Remember a nice presentation, including quality printing and coordinating matting and framing, really makes a photograph stand out. Please put a great amount of consideration in these aspects when entering. Also, wiring the photograph on the back is important for display purposes.

1. Color Theme: Farmlife - Whether you live on a farm, want to document a farming process, or just enjoy farm animals, enter a photo depicting our areas great love and pride in farming!
2. Black and White Theme: Winter Wonderland - Capture the winter season through landscapes, snow fun, or winter wildlife…the photo must include snow!
3. Photojournalism - This category was popular last year, so we're bringing it back! Enter a photo and an essay of no more than 100 words, describing or telling a story about the photo.
4. Color - Any Subject
5. Black and White - Any Subject

1. One entry per person per category. $3.00 fee per entry.
2. All work must be an original by the exhibitor and actual photograph must be
   8" x 10" or larger.
3. All entries must be framed, matted, and titled.
4. All entries must be wired and ready to hang.
5. Ribbons and prize money will be awarded to the best entries by a panel of judges.
6. Photographs will be judged by theme, composition, sharpness, color, and technical ability. Previously entered photographs will not be accepted. We reserve the right to reject inappropriate photographs.
7. Photographs and entry fee should be brought to the Exhibit Hall by Gate 3 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Entries must be picked up on Sunday, July 27, 2008 before 12:00 p.m.
8. Care will be taken to protect all entries from loss or damage. Failure to comply with all rules will result in forfeiture of awards and exhibiting in the future.
